Map from mid-1970s guidebook

How interesting to see this and the 1959 map. I've often wondered how much the zoo has changed as my memories of visiting as a child are rather hazy.

The Banana House was a green house with Banana Plants in it,the Rodent Cities is a serious of 3 pits that used to house Woodchucks,Praire Marmots and Crested Porcupine, and is still in use today but now only has Meerkats in it.

It has Tigers on the front cover and an advertisement for the model village at Babbacombe on the back.
