1: Manatee creek:
West Indian manatee
Redhead cichlid
Salvin’s cichlid
Firemouth cichlid
Blue-eyed cichlid
Pantano cichlid
Bay snook
Tropical gar
Banded astyanax
Mexican tetra*
* I'm actually uncertain if the Mexican tetras are still in here, I don't think I've ever seen them or the Astyanaxes in the large basin.
2: Saltwater mudflats:
West African fiddler crab*
Mudflats fiddler crab*
Atlantic horseshoe crab
Giant red hermit crab
Atlantic blue tang surgeonfish
Largescale four-eyed fish
Yucatan gambusia
Mangrove rivulus
Mangrove molly**
Liberty molly
* Despite the Central American theme of the Mangrove, West African fiddler crabs make up the large majority of the fiddler crabs on the mudflats. This is mostly due to their availability. There are still said to be some Mudflats fiddler crabs left, though.
** The Mangrove mollies are basically impossible to confirm, since they're identical to the Yellow-tailed form Liberty mollies (Liberty mollies can have both Yellow-tailed and Red-tailed forms).
2.5: Jellyfish pond:
Upside-down jellyfish
Blue-legged hermit crab
Wavy turban
Golf ball coral
(Some of the smaller fish from the larger creek have also found their way into this area)
Free-roaming animals:
Blue ground dove
White-winged dove
Crested bobwhite
Indigo bunting
Violaceous euphonia
Bay-headed tanager
Blue-backed grassquit
Red-legged honeycreeper
Brown basilisk
Allison’s anole
White-throated gecko
Also a lot of butterfly species
A: Entrance and exit, which include an introductional video and a donation point.
B: Boardwalk section. This goes over the giant manatee basin, as well as through a thicket of live mangroves (I think they're red mangroves, but I can't say with certainty).
C: Covered viewing point. This includes a lot of the signage, and it's also the place where educational talks are held.
D: Manatee viewing point. The lowest point in the Mangrove. At least, for visitors, and provides view into the manatee basin.
E: "Cocoon closet" with butterfly cocoons and newly hatched butterflies.
F: Adventure path through the main forest section.
G: Freshwater creek. This starts near the adventure path and runs down into a small pond before continuing into the manatee basin. The pond around the main path holds a lot of Banded astyanaxes, where they breed readily.
