@steveroberts I agree! Only a few years ago there was only a few poles/platforms, so it's really good to see Taronga providing her with these natural climbing oppurtunities.
It's so fantastic to see hey that's she has that setup now with all those climbing opportunities she didnt have before. Really happy seeing that, so glad Tigergal took the photo of, had no idea they had built that. Her keepers had put some enrichment toys around her exhibit for years like a puzzle cone that had food inside it which was great to see for giving her some things to do, but these new climbing frames seem like are going to be so much fun for her hey.
@steveroberts@Jambo she was super active and engaged, and had multiple enrichment activities in the 15 or so minutes we were there. She was picking up on the blue barrel, then went for a walk and sniff along the climbing pole that we see here, then ripped the hessian bag down that bag a coles bag with bedding from another enclosure that she sniffed and played on for a long time. I agree that it’s great that Taronga has given her enclosure a bit of a facelift, I feel like she’s always been quite disengaged from her exhibit and hiding from the guests but she’s much more active and outgoing now!
