Oh... There are various species of Tacca in Madagascar: T. ankaranensis, T. artocarpifolia, T. leontopetaloides... Why they used a south-east Asian species, Tacca chantrieri, instead them in a Masoala-themed exhibit?
Probably yes, since T. chantrieri is the only species relatively easy to get (I've saw them in just "normal" nursieries and even in flower shops...) but then it would be better just don't putting any Tacca in the exhibit...
