Initially the plants used were tropical species from around the world. They aim to ideally replace the non-Malagasy plants (initially over 1/4 of the plants were sourced from the zoo's plant nurseries in Madagascar.) Ten years on, I don't know how well they've been implementing this.
They definately have one of the hedgehog-tenrec species in here, although seeing one is a totally different matter. Here is a picture of one of the Masoala Hall tenrecs:
