A pitta-like ground roller on a sign in the Masoala rainforest. This species is probably the biggest rarity within the zoo.

This sign proved to be very good for bird sightings, as within 5 minutes I also saw a Madagascar magpie trush on the same spot ;)

Nice shot. This animal is one of my biggest zoo failures. Everybody else seems to find it without too much difficulty but I've never come across it despite several long visits.
 
lintworm
I see it on every visit between the treetops walk and the giant tortoise exhibit, especially the area around the little stream.
