Looks like a mighty fine plan to me! However, I'm a little concerned with having giant anteaters and maned wolves in the same enclosure... I mean, couldn't they hurt one another? Maybe not, if the wolves are well fed, but still...
Actually, it’s the wolves which might have to watch out for the anteater’s claws! I’ve seen this mix twice, there is usually minor aggression initially but things smooth out quickly. Maned wolves rarely (if ever) target giant anteaters.
Zoos like Audubon and Phoenix have both had Maned Wolf/Giant Anteater combinations and there are many more examples of that mixed-species exhibit in the zoo world.
Their master plan has changed somewhat. Clouded leopards and binturongs are now planned for the Asian forest along with the pandas. The prairie zone in the bottom right area of the zoo has been eliminated. That area is now planned for an "Island Adaptation" theme with gibbons, tree kangaroos, and a walk-through lemur complex. Bush dogs have replaced maned wolves as the South American canid exhibit.
