Although I would never complain about any animal getting more space, what zoos in North American have bigger tree kangaroo exhibits than this one? I was trying to think of all the tree kangaroo exhibits I have seen, all being small to average, and I couldn't come up with one bigger than this one. Perhaps some have more area space though due to this one having a small pond. I know you've been to so many zoos, so I loved to hear what you have seen!
I suppose I was spoiled a little by seeing a few really large exhibits for tree kangaroos in Asian zoos in 2024, but the one at the Bronx Zoo is just 3 upright branches and then a few logs attached going horizontally. I bet the roos spend all their time in a space of maybe 9 feet across and it seems small to me, although perhaps I'm being too harsh.

Should be noted that three of the four U.S. exhibits highlighted above either no longer hold tree kangaroos or no longer exist -- only San Diego, which remains far and away the best tree kangaroo exhibit I've seen personally.
@snowleopard, Detroit Zoo was definitely on top of my list for tree kangaroo exhibits as it gave them the most vertical space. However, as mentioned, it is now gone and I'm not sure how much AJ, the geriatric former tree kangaroo, used the vertical space in his later years. But I always loved that he had the option. Thank you for photos of some exhibits outside of North America - they look wonderful. I'm also excited to see Woodland Park Zoo's new exhibit when it opens.
