Despite the name of the building and what the trail says on the map, the keepers at Jungle Trails have quit sticking to a geographical theme for this attraction. There has been a Large-spotted Genet in this Asian Animal building for a couple of years, right outside of this exhibit are Crowned Guenons in the Asian trail, a Red-tailed Black Cockatoo mixed with a malkoha and a Crowned pigeon also in the Asian trail, and lastly in the previous year a Scarlett macaw and a helmeted currasow has replaced Congo peafowl in the African Trail.
