The kingfisher is off exhibit and a pygmy falcon will take its place. The keepers are thinking about moving the kingfisher to the butterfly atrium where there is a deep pond for hunting live fish.
Considering that this kingfisher was sent to Milwaukee just a week or so ago... I'd say that that is not the plan.. The pygmy falcon will likely only be temporary. They're still trying to figure out what exactly they want to do with that space.
