The most innovative I've seen I think, although this photo doesn't really capture it. The moat separates the meerkats from the savannah holding rhino, giraffe et al. The exhibit extends up several metres (the rockface can be seen here) to the savannah viewing walkway, where meerkats can be viewed through or over glass.
