It's fantastic to see the modernization of indoor elephant holding areas. For decades, if not centuries, elephants were always kept on hard, unyielding cement. Now, there can be piles of sand in all directions and that has proven to be amazing for elephants in captivity. If a zookeeper time travelled from a hundred years ago, they would be shocked by what they would see.
