Looking down the trail of the Mellow Marsh Boardwalk. During previous visits, the deckwalk takes the visitor over swampy marshland, teeming with a variety of amphibians and turtles. During the excessively hot, drought-ridden summer of 2012, the walkway only takes the visitor over cracked earth.
