Mexican Spider Monkey - July/2017

I was surprised to see them all on the grass on my visit, but apparently that is normal , given the fact that there are enough trees on the island it is slightly surprising to me, especially because spider monkeys in other zoos normally avoid the ground at most times...

I surprised me too. I waited ten minuts, do the monkeys jump on the tree, but preferred to stay in your meadow.
