No I believe they are sloth bears that rotate with the aging black bear. The sun bears have their own habitat near the front of the zoo next to the male Orangutan.
@BlackRhino: you are correct on the rotation policy. I just went through my Miami Metrozoo photos and I saw both the sun bears and the solitary Asiatic black bear. I never did see the sloth bears as they do indeed rotate with the Asiatic black bear. Thanks!
