I do like to see them freeflying. Hayle used to have freefliers but nowadays presumably they are only flown during displays/Bird Shows? Too valuable to risk at full liberty perhaps?
Yes, the young Militaries are flown at the end of the Free Flying Bird Show. It is not that long ago that there were free-flying Hyacinthine Macaws at the park and then Scarlets, but I did not see any mention of any on at least my last couple of visits.
