Signed as the superb starling (Lamprotornis superbus), a pair of this bird live alongside several crested partridge.
This species is still considered by some to be a subspecies of the lesser blue-eared starling (Lamprotornis chloropterus), which lives in western to eastern Africa. This (sub)species lives in southern Africa. Physicaly, they have a more darker plumage on around their throat and below their eyes.
