It's astonishing how little overall diversity of neotropical primates is represented in American and European zoos.
 
@Ituri I can only agree! I was surprised to see how many different species are managed by South American institutions and especially Brazilian and Peruvian zoos. If the Blond Capuchin and Kappori Capuchin arrive to Europe in the near future, this could be a sign of change. The Neotropical mammalogy exploded in the last decade and I truly believe that the conservation efforts in the native countries will follow. Hopefully North America and Europe will join .
