Interestingly an image posted by robmv of an animal labelled as this taxon at Terra Natura Benidorm in 2008 - which would appear to in fact be Amazonian Hog-nosed Skunk - may suggest these animals were mislabelled too:

A conversation elsewhere reminded me that I never updated this to say that they do indeed seem to have been Conepatus semistriatus mislabelled as C. chinga. This is largely academic for me, never having seen another Conepatus before or since, but we always want to pursue accuracy.
