My thoughts on Chester are covered in this thread, here. While there is lots that is great I can't say I much cared for the way in which animal displays are subsumed by the theming of the exits -as here.
@sooty mangabey I was standing in this area just the other week, thinking that some seating people could actually use would be preferable to this junk which just reduces the standing area near the viewing window anyway. I could not work out either, why the indoor viewing window of the ever popular Orangs in here seems smaller than the full-width one for the Sulawesi macaques' indoor enclosure- where virtually no-one was looking at them.
