I think that someone needs to type out a list of the top 10 rainforest/jungle buildings in Europe. I wonder where Chester's Monsoon Forest would be on such a list? Surely Gondwanaland at Leipzig would be a clear contender for the #1 position, but after that who knows?
It is a fantastic building but there aren't as many species in there as you would think. In the main rainforest building it is home to two large pools for false gharials and turtles; but other than that there are only a few free-flying birds, a couple of vivariums, and one tortoise enclosure; plus the viewing window for the macaques' indoor enclosure.
@Water Dragon You forgot the indoor viewing for the Sumatran Orang utans and Silvery Gibbons.Plus if they are out, you can get a clear look down into the Tigers from the exit of Monsoon Forest.
