Monterey Bay Aquarium - Killer Whale Statue

Cool, another similarity to the Aquarium of the Pacific except that the AotP has a 88 foot blue whale replica hanging from the roof in the main hall.

That's funny, as the American Museum of Natural History in New York City has a full-size blue whale model as well. I wonder if they are identical? The Smithonian Museum of Natural History in Washington DC has a full-size sperm whale model that will be open to the public this fall.

Probably they were made by the same company.
