Monterey Bay Aquarium - Wild Harbour Seals

August 2008. There were at least 10-12 harbour seals resting just outside the walls of the aquarium. There are often whales, dolphins, sea lions and sea otters that also either migrate or make their home right next to the aquarium.

cool, I presume many people would pay for admission just to see some species pass by.

It is awesome to see seals and sea lions directly outside the brilliant aquarium, and that is one of the reasons why Monterey Bay doesn't include marine mammals (apart from otters) in their collection.
