Once they are a certain size, they're moved downstairs to the jellys exhibit.

I visited the Aquarium for the first time two days ago, and this tank was one of the most surprising things I saw. It sounds almost oxymoronic to have a touch tank for Jellies, and I felt anxious as I dipped my hand into the water even after the worker explained that these individuals couldn't shock humans. I was also surprised how the animals felt; their hoods were much more stiff than I had imagined. I normally skip touch tanks for sharks and rays, but this exhibit was so novel that I couldn't look away.

@ZooElephantsMan Glad to hear your enjoyed it! Maritime Aquarium also has a touch tank for moon jellies, but I'm not sure if it's open all day like this one is. They remind me a lot of cownose rays, which are so squishy and smooth.

@TinoPup Ah, I haven't been to the Maritime Aquarium in almost 15 years (its crazy to think it's been that long!) but I have been planning to try to revisit there and Beardsley in the Spring, so the touch tank will definitely be something to keep an eye out for!
