Yes VC I'm now not so sure about the American moon moth ID now , the ones I raised looked like this but had a lot more hair from memory, mind you it was about 16 years ago.
if you look up moon moth caterpillars on Google they look very like this one
Thanks dean, had a look at Google are there are several different forms but I'll leave it with Moon moth. As soon as somebody knows the exact species, please let me know.
