From memory there were eight of these enclosures coming out from the rather handsome central building. Père David's deer were housed in a knocked through pair of these, and there were one or two other species in these enclosures from the barn, but as far as I am aware this was it for the moose, though it may well have had access to other enclosures. However, the only sign for him was outside this one.
@Dormitator First of all, thanks for the information. I got no clue about the financial capabilities of the Leningrad Zoo, but it sounds like, that without to much effort you can put together these eight exhibits around this central bulding, that there are 2 moderate exhibits for less species. On this way you still got the principle of one central building in the middle and the exhibits around this building and the animals have way more space.
