Pretty close - these were only a couple of dozen metres away. They were in the park HQ area where the animals seemed fairly habituated to tourists. We saw some (including a big male) right by the entrance road two nights before, but were unable to stop as we were trying to reach an Abyssinian Owl roost before it set out hunting for the night! (we were just in time!)
