White mice? I think I can see one above the letter "M" in "Maus" and another climbing individual behind the lower portion of the door.The flooring looks a little perforated - I am sure more than one "Maus" must have made a break for freedom through there! (Or perhaps some wild one tried to get in for such tailor-made food and lodgings).This is one of those humble , unlikely exhibits that I would actually spend quite a while looking at.
They're domestic 'fancy' mice, yes - I think there was a mix of colours. The little children's farm at Leipzig overall is pretty unremarkable, but this struck me as amusing!
