Multi-Acre African Elephant Exhibit

Look at those Tusk the second elephant(from the left) has, they are certainly impressive.

One of my favorite exhibits at the zoo. Its possible to get very close to the elephants along the path, as there is a section about 15 feet from the fence where they will reach across and grab leaves from a clump of trees next to the fence. Great photos by the way, snowleopard!

@JaxElephant: It hard to beleive these are all femals with tusks like that.

That is even more impressive, I usally see males have tusk like those.

Looking at those tusks I would say they could have some forest elephant blood in them as they have the long thin almost straight tusks unlike the normal bush elephant
