Is there anything in specific you think is wrong with this exhibit? (I'm not exactly an expert in reptile housing)
The zoo was for sale for two years and was not bought until December last year, so I think the former owners only did the necessary day-to-day upkeep without doing much renovation in case they had to tear it all down.
That being said, I get the impression that none of the Munkholm owners have been all that interested in reptiles and mostly just keep them for the sake of keeping them (and so the guests can touch a snake). Their heart is probably more with the mammals and birds, most of which have fine or good exhibits.
