Was the gift shop a good one? I find that quite often museums have stores that can be rather excellent without some of the junky toys that can be found in many zoo and aquarium shops. Also, how long did you spend at the museum?
It appeared good but I didn't browse. I spent about 6 hours at the museum, it was excellent! I also spent a few hours afterwards at the adjacent Red Butte Garden, also excellent!
