I am really loving your fantasy Zoo lists!!! Is there any chance you might also do fantasy zoo maps for Cotswold, Dudley or Marwell if possible? Keep up the good work!
I really like how you really used this zoo to its maximum potential, and got some really interesting species in there to boot! Although I was wondering, do you have any strong opinions on the current lion enclosure? I think it's a good idea to split it into two smaller carnivore enclosures if it's too small.
I've personally never seen much problem with it but it may be a bit too small and two smaller enclosures would work well but that would mean that Bristol lost its main attraction, aside from the Gorillas.
I love this - some great additions to the already fantastic collection. I've always said that I'd like to see a leopard species replace the lions (Just because I find them more interesting). All I would like to point out is that during the summer the patch of grass you have allocated to the Spotted deer is covered with people... so that may be something to think about. Otherwise, this is great... I may even have a pop at this myself!
I believe that in 2014 Bristol Zoo did have southern cassowary in the current Visayan warty pig enclosure. They also had southern pudu back in 2014 as well but that enclosure is now used for agouti and mara. However, they do have Lac Alaotra gentle lemurs and blue eyed black lemurs at the zoo. The gentle lemurs are behind the tree kangaroo house and the blue eyed black lemurs are where you have suggested. I may be wrong about the blue eyed black lemurs current location though, as I didn't see them when I last went.
