Narrow-striped mongoose (Mungotictis decemlineata decemlineata) at Newquay

I actually prefer to use the name "Narrow-striped Boky" for this species, but I decided to stick to convention ;) this was the lifetick at Newquay I came closest to missing, as the species shares an enclosure with some very boisterous Crowned Lemur, and therefore seldom emerges from the offshow sleeping quarters. Whenever the two individuals onshow emerged, they would move far too fast to be photographed, and be visible for far too little time. Fortunately, shortly before I left the zoo, this one stopped to scratch itself ;)
