Nashville Zoo - Black-throated Magpie Jay

@SusScrofa Did you see Maleo at the zoo on your visit? I visited in winter as well and saw the Magpie-jays in an enclosure that apparently others have seen Maleo in during warmer months recently.

@Coelacanth18 I did not, just the jay and Toco Toucans in the next exhibit. The Maleos must either be a summer thing or they were just on display for a brief occasion, Nashville sure does keep a whole lot of interesting species with no dedicated exhibits.

@SusScrofa I think they are a summer thing, as they were on exhibit both before and after my winter visit during warmer months and yet were missing again for your winter visit - and with the same species replacing them both times. Maleo are a tropical species and kept indoors at Tulsa, so maybe they're not cold tolerant enough for Nashville winters?
