Natal Red Duiker (Cephalophus natalensis) at Zoo Berlin - April 4th 2014

An attractive small ungulate, and by far the most common duiker in European collections, this photograph was the best I had ever achieved of the taxon at the time.

Unfortunately, currently the population isn't doing well,it stopped growing, some breeding animals in germany died recently beacause of age, also some young animals, many zoos still haven't breed them yet, and some zoos breed with full sisters. So the question is-how long they are the most common duiker in europe ? By the way, this is not really difficult because of only there species of duikers in europe.Hmm, I forgot the red-flanked at Valencia-is he still alive ? Nevertheles,it is just one of that species in europe, five yellow-backs and some blues-that's it.
