An unusually rocky and hilly enclosure, but one that must be the best of its kind for sloth bears. Everyone who visits the Asia Trail set of habitats agrees that the National Zoo is heading in the right direction by having a world class set of exhibits. With the upcoming Elephant Trails paddocks opening in 2011 and the renovation of the sealion pool this zoo is slowly but surely becoming a great attraction in North America. It has always been immensely popular, but it hasn't always been highly rated within the zoo industry.
