I'm not sure if you encountered this as well @vogelcommando, but when I was in Tanzania I remember weaver nests being so ubiquitous they almost seemed like part of the local flora!
@Coelacanth18 I've indeed seen a good number of Weaver-nests but most of them were either Village-weaver-nests or Buffalo-weaver-nests. Nests of the Black-necked weaver I've seen only 6 or 7 times.
