I just visited the AWCC today, hoping to see Wood Bison calves. There were about a dozen or so. As for BEARS, the elevated walkway and the American Black Bear exhibits are complete. The next stage appears to involve sheltered viewing areas (a couple of frames for what look like awnings are up); after that it looks like some sort of building will be placed on the site to act as a education center/museum (?), with the possibility of viewing the exterior exhibits from within (?). Not entirely sure. I took a snapshot of the info sign and will post it.
