It is not physically connected to the main aquarium, but is located on the opposite end of Cannery Row. This is a two block stretch of oceanfront that were former sardine canning factories and are now tourist shops and restaurants. The aquarium anchors the north end of the two block stretch and this new building anchors the south end.
