There is certainly a LOT more sunlight in comparison to the cramped old barn, but at a final cost of almost $60 million (the entire project) it is no surprise that the zoo has built a much more modern structure to house its herd of elephants.
Whether the anti-captivity protestors like it or not, one thing is certain; seeing these pictures, this elephant exhibit is so much better than the last one.
