New fencing around the quarry enclosure

Behind the corner of the giraffe house, Paignton, 5th June 2019
This new fencing is obviously stronger and taller than the old fence inside it: whichever species eventually inhabits this enclosure should not be able to escape as the tur did. Note also the horizontal spread of the mesh at the base of the fence, over solid foundations, which I presume will all be concealed by backfilling: this should exclude badgers and so prevent infection of the new occupants with bovine TB, which was the the reason that the group of tur and the old Barbary sheep had to be destroyed.
