I really like that, but I'm wondering no underwater view?

I am sure it is due to cost factors. Special glass to withstand water pressure would add significantly. But after that you need very expensive filtration systems to keep the water clear enough for viewing. A small facility like this I do not believe could afford something like this.

(Note - no one on staff told me this, it is just my educated guess).

I disagree, I think money is not an issue here as evident from the expenditure on the quality of the enclosures.

The owner is a very successful business man. I would imagine factors other than money influenced the decision.

underwater viewing for otters is not a very common feature in the UK actually come to think of it. which is a shame because it is only underwater that their grace can be truly appreciated
