snowleopard 8 Jan 2009 Is this enclosure now open? Is it actually called the Kangaroo Island exhibit?
T T Triffle 8 Jan 2009 Yep it's called the Kangaroo Island Kangaroo exhibit, they are lying down on the right hand side of the small hill.

T T Triffle 9 Jan 2009 The bison used to be in this area most recently around 2005, and were there at least 20 years before that. The buffalo were in the next paddock along.

Hix 9 Jan 2009 I know macropods have fairly basic needs, but that looks like it's taking 'basic' to extremes. Some vegetation/shrubbery would go down well in that exhibit. Do they have a shelter they can access in case it rains or gets too hot?
