In the two photos that you've uploaded of the new red panda exhibit there doesn't appear to be nearly as many trees and climbing opportunities for the animals as there was before. Are the enclosures now fully completed?
I don't know. They had interpretive graphics mounted (but still in bubble wrap), so I imagine they aren't too far off. I would prefer to see more mature trees in these enclosures too, but I guess the zoo must have been limited with their resources. The dead vertical trees go up so high the pandas can see the people on the road above as they walk past.
This is in the old Bear Canyon enclosure, below the Silvery Gibbons.
It has grown a bit since that photo was taken, buut no animals introduced to the enclosure yet - should be any day now.
