While the new Red Panda exhibit looks decent (average quality but lacking shade or height) it is a major step forward for this small zoo. Painting the Asian aviary poles green was inspired as the colour blends in somewhat with its surroundings. Best of all is this pathway, with the lush foliage on either side and a very professional appearance. Hopefully Charles Paddock Zoo can build on this kind of success, one step at a time.
@snowleopard Yes, the theming for this exhibit area is pretty top-notch. And I agree that the red panda exhibit will need shade of some kind. There were no pandas out when I visited, so maybe they are planning on doing minor modifications to it?
