It is great to see some photos of the new 15-acre expansion of this ever-evolving zoo. I think that Wildlife World must be close to cracking America's top 20 zoos in terms of the number of species on display, but as always a number of the exhibits leave a lot to be desired. In this photo, is that the train/tram track in the background or the edge of the paddock?
It is the tram pathway, which is a graded dirt track that runs along the outer edges of the exhibits. However, the exhibit boundary is just beyond that.
It is pretty good. Not groundbreaking, but good. It all looks more or less like what you see here. The path is lined with bird cages that are fairly basic and there are a couple of also basic but good sized predator exhibits (lion, jackal, hyena, cheetah). The cheetahs have not yet arrived, but their enclosure is finished (a fairly large grass yard with one dirt mound and one mature tree).
