I REALLY love this aviary! Partially because of the amazing mixture of species (Vultures, turacos, weavers, hornbills and different waders all together!), but also because of the lowered ungulate enclosure setup, which is something I absolutely adore! And is sadly something that isn't done much
@Mr Gharial I am also a big fan of the Savanna aviary's concept as well as of the fact that they incorporated an historical building into the aviary and repurposed it. That said, one would have to say that perhaps the Cape buffalo paddock isn't the best or most spacious exhibit nor has the best viewing. A smaller ungulate would be better, but would also be challenging in terms of jumping abilities.
I would guess that the ungulate/bird setup is not the easiest or cheapest option at all - but I do agree that I would like to see more examples of it.
