Are there plans to refurb the island after Nico? I know from archive that chimps were once housed but don't know the reasons they left. Is the island too small for gibbons?

I think maybe the Chimps moved because they were able to get Gorillas- they built a second 'island' (by digging a moated area) on the mainland across from the island for the Chimps, so they had both for a while.
I believe Nico's 'roman temple' house is quite dilapitated- its been there since they opened this display. Over the years it housed firstly chimps, then the previous Gorilla trio, then finally Nico and Samba, and would need at least internal upgrading after he goes, but the Island would be big enough for Gibbons- or something like Mandrills maybe. Presumably they will put something else on it to continue an adjacent display on the boat ride to the newer Gorilla group
