Bad picture, I know. According to this sign the Night Safari is home to bush thick-knee (Burhinus grallarius), tropical screech owl (Megascops choliba) and Tawny frogmouth (Podargus strigoides) and, in a separate exhibit, North Island brown kiwi (Apteryx mantelli).
Just like you, I've only seen bush thick-knees in the "Nachtsafari". However, tawny frogmouth is also kept in the rainforest hall and easy to see over there.
 
@AWP Yes, I did in fact see the tawny frogmouths in the tropical hall and I will be posting a photo of the animal and the aviary it lives in over there in this gallery later on.

Also: I also saw at least two more bush thick-knees in one of the aviaries in the tropical hall.
