They're in the paddock between the cheetahs and the entrance to Passage Through Asia. I think, until a few months ago, it housed the Nile lechwe (usually in the furthest corner!).
An interesting photo, highlighting the very pronounced shoulder hump and those intriguing white socks that I remember seeing on the very first images of Saola that I ever saw.
Passage Through Asia needs a major revamp, IMO. It needs more animals, fundamentally, and it seems peculiar to have that picnic area, hardly used by anyone, when it could so easily be accommodating a group of wild sheep or goats, who would appreciate the climbing opportunities a lot more than the average visitor! And to have the buses not go through the park's drive through section is surely a bit self-defeating!

I think the plan is to use the Lookout Lodge safari truck and advertise a "safari experience" along the lines of Port Lympne.
Animal-wise, it has been said that, should polar bears return to ZSL, they'd require the majority of the PTA footprint in order to do them justice.
I think that is a bit silly. Pedestrians can't access this whole area. Personally having been through it many times, recently I just took Binoculars with me and you can see virtually everything from outside the area-but your average pedestrian visitor might like to go through there.
